Just a quick one from me this week, but as not everyone here follows me on Instagram or is signed up to my monthly newsletter, I wanted to let you know what I’ve been up to. I think it is something super cool, and we can raise some money for a great cause in the process.
This month I launched a collaborative project with Print Social. If you don’t know about Print Social, they are a London based print-on-demand service who specialise in garment and textile products.
Because they are print-on-demand, they only print what has been ordered during the presale of each campaign. This way they can reduce unnecessary waste, and they are committed to using recycled materials. You can also see the ethical rating of each item on every single listing!
But wait…there is more!
For every campaign they donate 5% of the profits to a charity of your choice. Creators can also choose to match this to make 10% of profits donated, which I have chosen to do. So 10% of my profits will be going to WWF U.K. Being able to have the chance to donate any proportion of profits as well as having the autonomy to select a charity is a really lovely thing. It’s not something that every platform offers.
The campaign was launched at the beginning of June and will run until July 1st. I created an illustration to celebrate World Ocean Day that was on Saturday 8th June. World Ocean Day was created as a day to galvanise a collective action for a healthy ocean where lives cannot only recover and survive, but thrive.
So, it’s a perfect time to raise some money and get yourself a product that won’t be available again. This is an exclusive design for Print Social so once the campaign has ended it won’t be available again.
If you would like to buy one, the link is HERE and don’t forget, it would make a great gift for a pal, family member or a work colleague. Of course we all have lots of reusable bags, but let's be honest…none are so eco-conscious as this one, and you can raise money for charity at the same time.
Woohoo!
Until next time,
