Really loved reading more of the process behind these. Kinda made me want to crack out a sketchbook!

Some tutors really have a lot to answer for 🫠

Oh and I feel ballet figures have an extra layer of difficulty because the positions of the body are not necessarily natural? But then you need to make them look as natural as the ballerina makes them look 😅

Oh thank you! I always love to read about peoples processes, everyone has a different approach to pretty much everything! I find it fascinating!

I know...it is such a silly thing! It was secondary school, 20+ years ago, but it has followed me around through college, Art Foundation and University. Maybe next year is the year I kick that ghost for good.

I didn't take the easy route did I!? Weirdly, I don't mind do much that it wasn't perfect, drawing her costume, the fabrics etc I really loved, and I was just proud of myself for giving it a go - and sharing it!

I literally have "The Fashion Uni experience" on my Substack article list....which probably says a lot!

I got a beautiful Royal Ballet Swan Lake book for my birthday if you ever wanted to borrow it for any ballet themed inspo :)
